This is a grand, antique-style sideboard (or buffet) combining natural wood tones with black-painted trim and carved ornamentation. The top and structural framework are finished in black, while the drawer and door fronts showcase a rich brown wood grain.
The rectangular top is painted black, with carved flourishes at the corners. Just beneath the top edge, you can see a band of scalloped or half-circle carving running along the upper drawer. The top drawer is relatively narrow, with small round knobs and an eye-catching scalloped carving along its bottom edge. The lower drawer is larger and curved, with sweeping lines along the front edges. It features decorative ring pulls placed on either side.
The cabinet doors are decorated with an inset panel and a stylized carved motif—something like a decorative cartouche in the center. It has a round knob similar in finish to the drawer pulls.
Standing on six turned and fluted legs (four across the front, two in back), all painted black. They are connected by a low stretcher with additional carved details or scallops near the middle. The front apron also has carved, scalloped accents.
The piece combines ornate carving, turned legs, and contrasting finishes (warm wood grain vs. black paint). Decorative hardware adds further elegance.
